Australia To Soon See Red On Their PS3
Hey, so like...can we be next?
Colored PlayStation 3 systems have difficulty finding their way to North America; in fact, many don't make it out of Japan. But our Australian friends can soon exult in a new color option at the end of the month.
They'll join UK gamers in having access to the very cool scarlet red PS3 console. As noted by CVG, the 320GB system will land in Australian stores on May 31 with a retail price tag of AU$460 (about $470 US). It'll come with two matching Dual Shock 3 controllers as well. For the record, this same console will be available in the UK on May 11. Now, all we need to do is petition Sony to get more colors available in this country, and we'll be all set. I want a deep forest green one, or maybe a blue one...
However, if you're desperate for a flashy new color and don't want to wait, you can always visit ColorWare and fork over a pretty penny for a...uh...prettier machine.

i wish they would release a new designed ps3 same style and shape of the slim ps3 but back in the chrome and piano black finish.
i was so tempted to buy a 60GB EB had the other day but little too expensive at 460 bucks!
far too expensive, especially considering you can get the same thing off ebay for around 300.
