Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD Hits The Virtual Streets Next Month

Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD will remind us why this franchise was so well-received, and why so many gamers gained hundreds of hours of enjoyment from these titles. It's a glossier, bigger version of the game that started it all.
And the best part is that it's arriving a little sooner than expected. When it was first unveiled, it received only the hazy estimate of a "summer 2012" release; now, the man himself has revealed at his Twitter page that Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD will hit next month. Remember, this will be an all-digital launch (PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Arcade), so don't go looking for the physical copy.
Redone levels, music from the first few games in the series, and skaters like Rodney Mullen, Andrew Reynolds, Nyjah Huston, Chris Cole, and even Tony Hawk's son, Riley Hawk, have been confirmed. As for the price, we're anticipating a $14.99 tag, but it hasn't been announced yet.

It and SSX Tricky were THE games to play when friends came round. Then I got Guitar Hero II.
Looking back, the PS2 really was the greatest console!! It was definitely the most fun and had the most games. :)
As for Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD, D1P. No doubt about it! I still get a little giddy when I hear "Jerry was a racecar driver" by Primus, reminds me of San Francisco and downhill mall run every time!!

my favorite PS2 games. GTA 3 VC And SA. MGS 2&3. yakuza 1&2. ico & sotc. indigo prophecy. THPS4. resident evil 4. Bully. freedom fighters... i better stop i could go on forever xD.
i actually never played a SSX game maybe i should check one out. which one would you say is the best ?

I traded my copy of THPS 4 on PS2 ages ago. I'm starting to really miss it.
Still have my PS1 copy of THPS 1 though!! :)

i wish more publishers would go back and transform ps1 titles into HD!
id do anything to be able to play crash 1,2,3,CTR and bash in glorious HD!
then the ps1 spyro titles, and of course GEX, syphon filter and ape escape!
pandemonium would be nice too.
oh and a must the looney tunes games!
especially sheep raider, bugs and taz time busters and bugs and taz lost in time.
best 2 games ever made!!!!!!!
at least oddworld abes odyssey and abes exudes are being remade!
