Sons Of Anarchy Being Turned Into A "Real Game" For Consoles

If you're a fan of FX's hit biker drama, "Sons of Anarchy," you might also be interested in a video game adaptation. There had been one in the works; it was to be browser based.
But according to the Twitter page for series creator Kurt Sutter, they've decided to ditch the idea of a browser game and tackle a new project, the aforementioned "real game" for consoles.
"[Sons of Anarchy] game update. Had a great meeting with a big distributor yesterday. Myself and everyone at FX and Fox is committed to making this happen. Yes, we definitely wanna do a real game. Console based. Not some slapcrap browser MP thing. It'll take awhile, but it's the right way to go."
"Slapcrap browser MP thing." I love this guy. Anyway, the game seems to be in the early stages of development, so we don't have any further details at this time. However, it's interesting to note that Sutter said the game would somehow appeal to female players. "Nothing hotter than a girl with a controller in her hands," Sutter added. ...okay, now I really love this guy...in a non-sexual sort of way, of course.
We'll have to keep an eye on this one.

wonder if this will be for next gen consoles.
probably will if there just switching from browser to consoles now.
18 months time and ps3, 360 will be old news!

Ha, just way too much fake drama & BS included.
And any patchholder knows it might be good entertainment, but that's all it is... entertainment & just done for the mainstream sheep.
As for a much better biker show, I thought that the Canadian biker mini-series called "The Last Chapter"(starring Roy Dupuis & Michael Ironsides) and was much more realistic in our culture.
But I still want to the Sons Of Anarchy game come out, just because other than GTA's "The Lost & The Damned"(which I still haven't played yet), there hasn't any other biker games out there about club life, that I can think of.

But I fear that since deep Silveer first announced it in 2008 with a supposed 2009 launch date, that it's now nothing more than vaporware.

They would almost have to do this in a GTA sort of game in order for it to work I think...Turf wars, drug deals, gun deal, etc...
I'm leary, but intrigued...
