Modern Warfare 3 PS3 Bundle Coming
See Full ImageEven after launching back in November, it remains one of the best-selling games available each and every month.
And so, as revealed at the PlayStation Blog, "by popular demand," Sony will bring the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 PlayStation 3 bundle to store shelves on May 25.
It's a Limited Edition package that features the 320GB PS3 console and of course, Infinity Ward's blockbuster, Modern Warfare 3. You will also have "instant and free access to the action-packed online multiplayer experience through PlayStation Network," which is kinda significant 'cuz Xbox players don't know what it's like to play online for free. You can grab this special bundle for only $299, which essentially means you're getting a super popular game for no extra cost. Sure, we know there are a lot of CoD haters out there in the PlayStation family, but have you even tried last year's offering...?
If you're totally against the idea and you harbor this deep, seething hatred of the franchise in question, you're welcome to tell us all about it. If, on the other hand, you're a big fan, wait until next week...

So Sony really needs to give us much better value in the system itself & not just to the box in which it came in.
And if Sony wants to do it's bundles right, they need to "skin or paint" their PS3's with the bundle's theme, just like M$ does.
And also pack in a free 2nd controller, just like M$ does too.

As a collector, yes I would(I already have the MW2 skinned 360), plus the metallic brown Japanese version Monster Hunter PSP that's skinned with black dragons).
But if I wasn't a collector & was just a regular gamer, I would insist on only PS3 exclusives for any skinned themed bundles.

in my opinion a much better controller,
( trophies!)
If I didn't have a ps3 I'd defiantly get this instead of just a normal ps3 without the game that cost the same.
Of course I'd also rather buy a bundle with an exclusive but this is nice too
and I know quite a few people with ps3s that only play COD

one thing i really cant understand why $ony is not capitalizing on!
so many people get rid of their current systems just so they can have a newly skinned one, like the MW3 reach or GOW3 systems.
i honestly cant understand why $ony refuses to do the same.
too tight a$$ed?
thats my bet!
seriously, they would make a freaking mint if they released specially customized consoles just for popular games like what $E did with XIII.
i would of killed for a customized GOW3 ps3!
