Borderlands 2 Special Editions Revealed
Oh, don't worry. It isn't quite close enough to Christmas for you to have to worry about spending too much cash.
If you're a big fan of ultimate premium collections that you can proudly display in your collection, you've got to consider one of the Borderlands 2 special editions that will be available when the game launches on September 18.
The first is the Deluxe Vault Hunter's Collector's Edition, which will go for $99.99 and feature a Marcus Kincaid bobblehead doll, a collectible sticker set, a map of in-game world Pandora, a voucher for a digital comic, extra in-game content, and a super sweet hardbound Inside the Vault: The Art & Design of Borderlands 2 book. That's a pretty hefty package right there, but wait...you could take the next step...
It's the Ultimate Loot Chest Edition, which will have a retail price tag of $149.99 and feature all the items in the Vault Hunter's Collector's Edition plus a scaled loot chest replica, a steelbook case for the game, and a Creatures of Pandora wide-format ID chart. You'll also nab field notes from Sir Hammerlock, a cloth map of Pandora (shades of Game Arts!), a lithograph postcard set, and even a certificate of authenticity. Now that's something to put in a collection!
Of course, this is all assuming you'll want to play Borderlands 2 when it drops in September. But you will, right? And if you pre-order either bundle, you'll gain access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, which awards members a bunch of in-game content plus the recently announced new character, the Mechromancer. Good stuff!

i wont be getting it though, after having so many problems with the original, then contacting gearbox for support and them blaming my ps3 was the final straw.
i mean what type of customer support is that?
oh no our games perfect its your system!
no problem, if thats how you treat your fans then ill give my money to people who do give a sh*t about me!
not to mention their disgusting treatment of one of the industries most iconic characters!
i still cant get over that episode of xplay where the sess interviewed randy and asked him about all the reviews it got.
all he could say was, well it sold well.
with a massive smirk on his face.
really, thats all you care about?
who cares that millions of fans have been waiting 14+ years for this, who cares that its one of the most iconic series of all time, who cares that after over 14 years of waiting fans have been massively disappointed!
i cant believe that the man who left home and moved to texas JUST so he could work on duke nukem could care so little about him!
the mans a DISGRACE!!!!!!!!!!!
ill be quicker to give my whole bank account to the devil before i give gearbox a single cent!
