Call Of Duty: Black Ops II Pre-Order Incentives Revealed
Hey, did you know Call of Duty: Black Ops II launches on November 13? No? Really? ...don't lie.
If you're one of millions who plan to place your deposit on Treyarch's new blockbuster, you should probably be aware of the various pre-order incentives.
First up is Amazon, which is offering a free Black Ops II digital wallpaper with your pre-order. Then there's GameStop, which will give you a free two-sided Black Ops II poster, plus an additional Modern Warfare 3 prestige token for PowerUp Rewards members (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions only). Lastly, you can pre-order at Best Buy, which will hand over a free Black Ops II dog tag. Personally, nothing is really leaping out at me here but then again, I never pre-order anything anymore. So I'm probably not the best judge.
Okay, so who isn't pre-ordering this game? I mean, besides some of the normal PSXE readers?

i remember preordering GT4 and i ended up getting a USB stick shaped as a car key and had heaps of stuff on the game like wallpapers, movies of making of, concept art, ect, ect.
posters?
really?
thats the best you can do guys?
i mean surely the best selling game of all time can afford something a little more extravagant than posters!

If this were any other game, I'd get laughed at. But, since this is nothing other than Call Of Duty, I'm fairly certain I could easily get $130 for it.
Oh, and if I also give away a poorly sketched digital wallpaper with the eBay listing, even though it's nothing more than a 2D stickman and a square grenade, I could probably get an additional $10, making it a total of $140.
Boy, I love the gaming industry and what it has become. Way to go Activision! You just made me an extra $140 :D
