Lost Planet 3 Gameplay Is Encouraging
Lost Planet 3 sort of came out of nowhere. But now that we know it's coming, we have to admit...we're a little excited.
Although many had issues with the last installment, what we've seen of the third effort is encouraging. That debut video was pretty impressive, even if it didn't show any gameplay.
That being said, we always need to see gameplay before we allow ourselves to get super psyched, right? Well, thanks to a new Capcom Germany video, we can get a glimpse at Lost Planet 3 in action. You don't have to understand German to do that, although it's interesting to hear that "survival/horror" is the same in English and in German. Well, probably just because it's a category or label; we have to assume the Germans have their own words for "survival" and "horror." Just making a silly observation is all.
Anyway, check it out.

I'm holding out for more videos of Dishonored. Concept is great, game mechanics sound like they're pretty solid, but I just wanna see some hands-on impressions and maybe some reviews before I commit to it.
New IP's are a pretty mixed bag, you know.

This one does look interesting although I have to say, do they graphics look worse that LP1 to anyone? I'm wondering if they changed the engine from capcoms framework because it looks like Unreal engine to me. Oh well, if it has some cool multiplayer I'll be down.

ie turning a well known beloved franchise into something its not!
but for once thats a good thing!
i was never a fan of the first 2, they were great for a party type of game just have a blast with friends but they were never stand alone games.
this though looks really cool, i hope it has allot more of the lone wolf elements to it!
maybe the survival horror genre is not dead!
yet.........
