Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Dated, UK Gamers Get Sweet Edition
Man, I still remember playing Tekken Tag Tournament for the first time when the PS2 launched. I don't even like fighting games and I was duly impressed.
But that was mostly due to nifty new gaming hardware; this long-awaited sequel is specifically for the hardcore fighting aficionados out there. And the good news is, they don't have much longer to wait.
Namco Bandai Games Europe has announced that Tekken Tag Tournamnet 2 will release worldwide "the week of September 10, 2012" (specifically September 14 for Europe) for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will feature "the largest roster of fighters in Tekken history," and if you pre-order this bad boy at select retailers, you can play as one of the following DLC characters immediately upon the game's launch: Michelle Chang, Angel, Kunimitsu or Ancient Ogre.
Now, American fans are left out of the following: Franchise followers in the UK will have access to the glorious "We Are TEKKEN" edition of the game, which will be sold exclusively at GAME. This boasts an exclusive metal case loaded with the original soundtrack, an additional music CD with remixes, a 200-page art book, and a behind-the-scenes video with Harada San and "other special guests." Sweet, huh?

Tekken has just sold out, juggling mechanics, over the top monsters - it's now just an anime, for me Tekken finished with Tekken 3.

Harada made it pretty clear that he was against the notion of having to pay for characters, so I'm just assuming that this is a pre-order incentive, and the characters will be made available to download (for FREE!) at a later date :)
Or even better, maybe we JUST might be able to unlock them the old-fashioned way ;)
