New Tracks, Power-Up Video Unveiled For Rock Band Blitz
Rock Band Blitz is coming and to get you all amped up, Harmonix has released some new tracks and a video detailing the game's sweet power-ups.
The list of newly revealed tracks has a little something for everyone, ranging from Elton John's "I'm Still Standing" to Iron Maiden's "Wicker Man" to Great White's "Once Bitten Twice Shy." Me, I like a little variety in my music, so this is the kind of assortment that catches my eye. Check it out:
- All-American Rejects – "Kids in the Street"
- Barenaked Ladies – "One Week"
- Collective Soul – "Shine"
- Elton John – "I'm Still Standing"
- Fall Out Boy – "A Little Less Sixteen Candles"
- Great White – "Once Bitten Twice Shy"
- Iron Maiden – "Wicker Man"
- Living Colour – "Cult of Personality"
- P!nk – "Raise Your Glass"
- Shinedown – "Diamond Eyes"
- Tears for Fears – "Shout"
And here's that video about the power-ups, which is pretty dang cool. Yes, the gameplay does remind me a lot of Amplitude but hey, I loved that game. Seriously, who didn't?

As I understand it, the initial Blitz download will be a trial/demo with an unannounced number (history suggests three) of songs playable. If you purchase the game, you can then download the 25-song pack, just as if you redeemed the code on a "Track Pack" disc. This pack is exactly the same as any RB3 pack and will be immediately playable in both games.
However, the 83 songs on the RB3 disc will not be playable in Blitz until (unless) they become exportable in the future.
p.s. Finally some Blitz songs that excite me. Shame about the choices of BNL and Elton John songs.
I am your cult of...I am your cult of... I am your cult of...Shout, shout, let it all out.

Anyone know if all the tracks that come with it can be exported to Rock Band 3?
