Injustice: Gods Among Us: DC Comics Heroes And Villains Clash

Let's face it: They were all designed to fight.

Maybe not each other, necessarily, but still, fight they will. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced Injustice: Gods Among Us, which is slated to launch next year for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

The heroes and villains from the popular world of DC Comics will throw down in this new brawler; some of the biggest names in comic history are primed to do battle. Superman and Batman head the list, but there are other recognizable names, such as Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, and The Flash. "What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat?" ...well, we'd probably be in trouble.

Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios is at the helm for this one, which makes perfect sense. Not only have they delivered a couple top-quality MK fighters for consoles (and the Vita), they also delivered Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe back in 2008, so they're well schooled.

I wonder how hardcore this is going to be? I know it's not Mortal Kombat vs but it would be cool to make it more adult. I will keep a look out for this title. Loving Mortal Kombat so it's in good hands.

This one will be worth checking out. It already has a MK feel to it...I just hope WB lets the guys at NetherRealm push the envelope some.

I think we just saw superman's fatality; punch someone into outer space,ok i guess.

Its DC, they arent exactly known for gore.I keep thinking marvel can pull this off so much better (imagine wolverine's fatality)

we have MORE than enough fighting games out there!
does not present itself well either, i mean DC comic characters in a fighting game.
might as well have barbie in a snuff film!

The trailer looks promising, although to pull this off Warner has to get a great backstory for the game, otherwise It won't be as good IMHO. The DC universe has never been great when it goes action over meaning...
