Thatgamecompany's Tremendous Trio Bundled On Blu-Ray
If you consider yourself a collector of quality video games, you are going to buy this. Oh yes...you are.
Thatgamecompany has been responsible for three of the most innovative and critically acclaimed titles this generation. After various retailers spilled the beans, the developer confirmed that a disc-based Journey Collector's Edition is coming to the PlayStation 3 in August.
And it's not just about the team's latest; no, this awesome set will include all three of Thatgamecompany's impressive PS3 achievements: flOw, Flower, and Journey. Here's the Tweet that sorta uncereoniously confirmed it:
"Yes, the #JourneyPS3Collector's Edition is a thing, and it includes#flOwPS3 and #FlowerPS3, but we can't say anything more."
GameFly and Play-Asia leaked the information ahead of time but it's nice to have the clarification, even if they can't give us specific details just yet. All I need to know is that three games that deserve a spot in a physical collection are going to be available on a disc, and to round out a great PS3 library, one must have this.
Besides, don't forget that the developer in question is no longer exclusive to Sony, so you should consider this the Thatgamecompany swan song for PS3 exclusivity. Pay appropriate homage!

Anyway, this trio is probably the best three DLC games anybody could package together. Flower and Journey are two critically acclaimed games and flOw is very good, as well.
PixelJunk should look into packaging their releases on a Blu-Ray, too.

Come on Thatgamecompany, I need that tiny little extra push to buy your games one more time. I *so* want to. Just that sweet little extra something, please?

I will gladly re-buy PS2 games that have been remixed in HD for the PS3. But I can't justify dipping into my already tight budget to buy a second copy of a game I already own.
I think they'd have to add something special, something unique to the physical release to compel me to buy it.

so many games dont get anywhere near enough attention simply because people dont have access to online stores, or dont consider DL games worth the money.
if i had a nickel for every time i heard someone say why spend 20 bucks on a PSN game when i can get a full fledged ps3 game for the same price?
got a point, $ony REALLY needs to give their games price drops!
so this will hopefully get more people to give the games a try.
wish this would happen allot more often, so many DL only games i wanna try but have not simply because i dont have the download usage.
