Resident Evil 6 Collector's Edition Headed To Europe, Australia
Capcom has good news for European and Australian gamers: You guys get to shell out for a bad-ass Resident Evil 6 Collector's Edition!
Retailers are now taking pre-orders for the desirable package, which includes the game (duh) along with a variety of other goodies. If you're going to be in the market for a hooded sweatshirt come fall, you'll probably be even more interested. Check out what's included:
- Zombie Steel Book
- Exclusive RE6 hardback artbook showing concept art from the game
- Resident Evil 6 Avatar DLC code for 360 owners OR a Resident Evil 6 Dynamic Theme for PS3 owners
- Ivy University, Tall Oaks hooded sweatshirt (one size)
- 'The Resident Evil 6 forces emblems' – High quality enamelled zinc alloy emblems of the three main protagonists squad insignias, mounted and set in a limited numbered frame authenticated with signatures from Senior producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi , Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and Resident Evil 6 Director Eiichiro Sasaki. A must have piece for any fan of Resident Evil.
- All of the above amazing goodies are bundled together in the lenticular 'Needle Bomb' collectors box (as seen in the announcement trailer)
Say what you want about Capcom, but they usually give us awesome Collector's Editions that hardcore fans of a franchise really adore. If you've ever met a true-blue Resident Evil follower, for instance, they've typically got hordes of RE-related goodies in their libraries. And hey, that's half the fun of being an avid, die-hard fan.

The hoody is useful, and I'm sure it's a real treat for hardcore collectors.
Unfortunately, this is one gamer no longer interested in such goodies. Just gimme the game and I'll be happy. :)

Plus I don't have any extra shelve space for all the gaming swag that GameStop employees have already given me, never mind trying to find more space for any collectors edition stuff too.
Except with the $130 KZ3 collector's Heghast edition which was a definite D1P for me(but I still don't have a spare spot in which to display my Helghast head on).

nice to see its mostly physical stuff not DLC crap like a extra weapon like most games do.
lost my interest in "collectors" editions simply because there really not collectors any more.
99% of the time their cheaply produced, mass produced, and dont really have any items that would be collectable.
plus, what happened to the good old days of making of documentaries?
use to be the de facto of collectors editions, now your lucky if 1 game out of 1000 has one!
in fact last CE i bought that had a making of doco was MGS4!
