LBP Dev Hiring For "Different Projects On Different Platforms"
We all know Media Molecule for their widely esteemed and highly entertaining LittleBigPlanet franchise.
But they won't work on the very same series forever and ever, right? It may be safe to assume we're getting LittleBigPlanet 3 at some point, and we know the Vita iteration is on the way, but what else might the talented developer have in the works?
Well, according to OPM UK citing some new job listings, the team might actually be looking forward to the new generation...but that might be a stretch, given the wording. All we know is that it's a new "AAA project" and they're using a "small, multi-discipline team" for the time being. One available position says the successful applicant will be working on "different projects on different platforms." Well, Sony owns these guys, so are we looking at the PS3 and Vita, or is the PS4 involved somehow?
If you're interested, they're looking for an experienced Gameplay Programmer, UI Designer, 3D Animator, Audio Programmer, and Lead Audio Designer. This is one of those studios we'd love to see branch out, because they've already proven themselves immensely capable.

Sony needs its own rpg, i think these guys have what it takes to make an rpg to rival the biggest rpgs out there. Image if we get a rpg like Skyrim or final fantasy with an epic story but the best part is that the community can make their own rpg adventure. You make the level, you make monters, the boss, the armor, you make the weapons, the stats, the story.
now that lbp 2 is free with ps+, do yourself a favor an check out some of the community levels they are amazing. To think that was only possible because of the level editor and infrastructure media molecule created, image what they are making next with an updated engine and a ps4... cant wait

one thing ill never understand why no one has created a more ranged oriented 3D platformer!
we have so many more gritty adult games like uncharted and such, but we have very few more not kids but more ranged games.
especially considering how well SMG has sold!
why does $ony always have to copy the most boring overdone ideas?
there is a million and one smash brothers clones out their, why couldent they at least clone something different and imaginative!?
