Nippon Ichi Confirms Disgaea 5 For...Well, Eventual Release
It's tough to get too excited about a new game when we know next to nothing about it...besides the fact that it's gonna be made.
But hey, we know just how loyal Disgaea fans are and in this day and age, most die-hard followers of any given Japanese franchise are concerned that it might disappear forever. The good news is that Nippon Ichi's critically acclaimed strategy/RPG series doesn't appear to be going anywhere.
As reported by Siliconera, Nippon Ichi president Souhei Niikawa confirmed that they will indeed make Disgaea 5. No other details came out of the Q&A session, and the prez politely asked fans to be patient. It'll be interesting to see which platform is being targeted; right now, the developers are currently working on The Witch and The Hundred Knights for the PS3, so maybe Disgaea 5 will come to the PS4...
By the way, for a really cool portable offering, you should check out Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention.

Just announced - Atelier Ayesha will be localized, no date yet, but likely to be about 10-12 months after JPN release, like the other Ateliers were.

However, Rainbow Moon has my attention as well. I will wait for reviews though. Interesting that RBM has a trophy for playing 100 hours! You have to love that! I know it's great to have it come out on the PS3 but this game would have been perfect for the Vita.
Cannot wait for Sony to start fully supporting the Vita with new releases, PS+, PS1 and PS2 classics. I hope Sony ports some of the stellar PSN games as well. I can totally see myself playing Dead Nation and Gatling Gears for example on the Vita.
For the record I have 14 Vita and 2 PSP games on my Vita. So I have a lot to do on my it. I can assure you it doesn't have a speck of dust on it. I am just wanting the best for this incredible piece of tech!

I do have to confess that being a guild leader in an online game takes a degree of commitment, to play that game instead of others, that I was not aware of. Plus I've been playing Mana Khemia 2 on my Vita when not playing WKC2 on the PS3...lol.
However, I do not regret the commitment. My humble Nekomimis FTW guild in WKC2 now has over 140 members and is ranked 12th in NA/EU. Not bad for a guild that forbids cheating and is named after cute anime girls.
