Lords Of Shadow 2 Once Again Uses PS3 As Lead Platform
Well, if it worked out well the first time, why change it?
More and more developers have started to use the PlayStation 3 as the lead development console in their multiplatform projects. One of those teams is MercurySteam, the guys behind the popular and well-received Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
So with Lords of Shadow 2 in development, The Gamers Hub asked producer David Cox if the PS3 was still the machine on which they will begin. As it turns out, the short answer is yes: Sony's console will once again be the lead console. Of course, with third-party exclusives mostly going the way of the dodo this generation, multiplatform projects are by far the most common and in truth, essential for survival.
So who's excited for LoS2? I admit I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one, but I know I was in the minority.

Glad PS3 is taking the lead again, the first game had to be on 2 DVDs for Xbox so I expect the same for LoS2 or we will know they cut corners.

Can't argue with someone who is so close-minded on one particular thing.
I'm always the odd one out when it comes to preferences in gaming.

This is at the top of my wish list next year! I loved the first LoS. It just had something about the really ticked it for me - sad story of such a noble man who becomes everything he fought against. For sure the concept has been used in other films and games, but nevertheless, LoS gave it a fresh new feel.
