PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Set For October 23
See Full ImageWe knew PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale would be headed our way this year, but we didn't have a concrete date.
Now we do. As revealed at the PlayStation Blog, the upcoming battler featuring your favorite PlayStation icons will hit store shelves on October 23.
If you pre-order, you can nab "an exclusive set of costumes for all the characters in the game," and the pic you see here are only some of the available outfits (more will be announced later). Also, don't forget that two new characters will be revealed later on today during Sony's Exhibition Presentation at EVO in Las Vegas. For now, we're assuming both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita version of the game will release on October 23; it's kind of implied in the update post, anyway. And it would make perfect sense.
So, are you ready to throw down this fall?

if i wanted a mario brothers game i would go buy a mario brothers game!
i wish publishers would stop trying to copy ninty!
they see the millions the wii has sold and think well if they release those games and sell millions, if we release the same games will sell millions!
sorry $ony and M$ but it just does not work that way!
wonder how many titles $ony has to make that utterly flop till they get that through their thick skulls!
it started with eyepet, than playstation move heroes, than ape escape, than medievil moves deadmunds quest, than sorcery, and now this.
and all have been a epic failure!
will $ony finally understand their fans want games like GOW, R&C, J&D, KZ, R, MGS, instead of games you would expect from other publishers?
you dont go to a Japanese eatery expecting a pizza, now do you?
so why do publishers have this concept cemented in their heads that if a particular genre does well, it will do well too if they do it?
just does not work that way!
would GOW be the big blockbuster hit if nintendo released it?
