Deus Ex: Human Revolution Getting The Big-Screen Treatment
It seems like any popular game is going Hollywood these days.
The latest is Deus Ex: Human Revolution, last year's critically acclaimed action/RPG from Square Enix. CBS Films has announced the project, which will be produced by Roy Lee ("The Departed," "The Ring") and Adrian Askarieh ("Hitman"). John P. Middleton ("7500") is on board as executive producer.
It also seems that both developer Eidos Montreal and Square Enix are working closely with CBS Films on the movie, which is good news. We're hearing a lot of this lately; when movies based on games are revealed, the original creators are usually part of the process. Maybe that will translate to better products in the theaters...? Said CBS Films co-president Terry Press:
"No one knows Human Revolution like the team that created it and we look forward to working with them from day one to make a film adaptation worthy of the Deus Ex name."
The film still needs a director and we have no clues about the cast, but who might be best suited to play Adam Jensen? That could be a very interesting choice...any good ideas?

heres hoping this turns out as they say, a worthy addition to the deus ex name!
however, of course, usual scepticism applies.
if the rock has taught me anything, its to always be weary of movie tie ins!
i always thought doom would be a really good movie since id were involved in it, and, well, yeah.............
