PSN PLAY Boasts Expendables 2, New Counter-Strike
Ready to PLAY?
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has announced that PSN Play, the summer program showcasing a diverse array of appealing titles and special offers, returns on July 24. At that time, the featured games will become available for pre-order on the PSN in the US, Canada and Mexico.
If you decide to purchase two or more of the four titles, you'll receive a bonus cash voucher for the PSN, and anyone who buys a game during the pre-order period will get an exclusive PS3 XMB theme (based on the title purchased). Oh, and if you're a PlayStation Plus member, Sony will toss you a 20% discount for a limited time. Here's that voucher deal:
- Buy any 4 PSN PLAY games to get $10
- Buy any 3 PSN PLAY games to get $6
- Buy any 2 PSN PLAY games to get $3
As for the four games on the PLAY lineup and when they're arriving:
- July 31: The Expendables 2 Videogame (PS3)
- August 7: Sound Shapes™ (PS3/PS Vita)
- August 14: Papo & Yo (PS3)
- August 21: Counter-Strike®: Global Offensive (PS3)
If you're interested, you should probably take advantage and maybe save yourself a few bucks. There are plenty of reasons to log on to the PlayStation Network these days; when was the last time you indulged in the horde of cool PSN content?
