Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Arctic Strike Map Pack Confirmed

Today, Ubisoft has announced that the first piece of downloadable content for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will arrive for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on July 17.
It's called the Arctic Strike Map Pack, and it will bring you from the streets of Moscow to the far reaches of the Arctic. In addition to three new multiplayer maps and one new co-op map, you will also receive a new multiplayer mode ("Stockade"), and six more weapons:
-- 3 MP Maps
-- 1 new MP Mode "Stockade"
-- 1 Guerilla Co-op Map
-- 6 Weapons: F2000, CZS805, Type 05 JS, BT MP9, OCP-11, and Mk17
-- Level cap increase of +10
You can grab the Arctic Strike Map Pack for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network or for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live. You can also pre-order at GameStop or Best Buy.

i really enjoyed the first half of the game, it certainly is not true ghost recon but it still was allot of fun!
second half was far too mindless action for my liking.
i really hope they do a new ghost recon very soon, and this time take it back to the series core stealth team based tactical roots!
ive always wanted to see a squad system like operation flashpoint red river in my military shooters!
whats the point of playing a military game, and being in charge of a squad, if you cant order them around!?

I wouldn't buy this pack (and it sounds like a good pack) though because there's hardly anyone actually playing the MP. The main reason for this is because of connection errors and quite a lot of host migration during matches. In some cases everyone getting kicked out mid-match.
Which really is a shame because it's one of the better online experiences. The weapon customisation is amongst the best I've ever come across in a game, at least the most in-depth (e.g. you can customise what trigger you want on your gun). Unfortunately with CoD and Battlefield ruling supreme over everything in the MP department, people just moved on.
