DICE Loses Battlefield 3 Lead Designer
It must be interesting (and tough) finding replacements for such key team members.
As reported by Kotaku, DICE designer David Goldfarb has left the company. He was the lead designer for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and last year's Battlefield 3. Said Goldfarb:
"It was time to move on for me. Fans have nothing to worry about."
Nobody is sure where Goldfarb is going, but he's talking about a new "Biblepunk" work of fiction over at his personal blog. He also described the project as "Old Testament noir," which is an intriguing concept. But this basically means DICE is gonna have to hire or promote someone to a leadership design position...got your resume handy?
EA hasn't commented on what sort of impact Goldfarb's departure may have on the Battlefield franchise. Chances are, it won't have much of an impact at all; they've got time to find that replacement, right?

its a shame, such a tallanted studio having to turn out the same sh*t over and over again!
i wish bioware, visceral, criterion and DICE could go freelander, break away from EA and create your own games!
just feels like there doing things not because they want to, but things EA wants them to.
if theres ONE game out there that feels like it was made by the publisher and not developer its ME3.
god that was a disaster!!!!!

Battlefield 3
