Kojima: MGS5 Title Screen Is Fake, But I Still Like "Buzz"
It wasn't enough for Konami to say that leaked title screen was false. They were just a little too playful about it - initially - and speculation shot through the roof.
But now the master himself has confirmed the publisher's clarification. The rumor has found its way to Hideo Kojima, who gave us the following update via Twitter:
"Since I've received inquiries about the MGS5 title screen/the announcement made at ComicCon which I had no idea of, I looked up on the net and found the source. But please note that title logo is completely FAKE. I apologize to those who were looking forward. Anyway it proved I can still create the buzz."
At about the same time, Kojipro senior producer Kenichiro Imaizumi also said the image is fake. Now, just bear in mind that these guys are only saying the supposed leaked photos from a Comic-Con behind-closed-doors presentation are fake. They're not saying MGS5 is fake...that game has gotta be real, of course. This just means they didn't show off MGS5 this past weekend, which shouldn't surprise anyone.
As for Kojima's secret Project Ogre, we just want a peek.

I personally would like one more Metal Gear this gen, as I am still not ready to embrace the next gen yet + Having only one MGS on the PS3 is upsetting, I was always hoping for one more. (Although Peace Walker in the HD collection is a mighty compromise.)

Though, given how much work (and hype) Kojima put into the Fox engine and Transfarring, i expect MGS5 to be on PS3, 360, and Vita.
That's right folks, the Vita too. Kojima is on record saying all of his future projects will utilise Transfarring

there probably just covering their a$$es!
if it is real though there goes the idea of MGS5 being a launch title for the ps4.
well unless they were stupid enough to show off a next gen game before said system was even announced, which i highly doubt.
i hope project ogre has absolutely nothing to do with MGS though!
im really sick of MGS, hes been working on it for so many years now its about bloody time the guy got out and tried something different!
id love to see him create a unique experience, a new genre if you will like david cage did.
i think he would match a game like that perfectly!
if not that than maybe a psychological thriller like alan wake, or even better a survival horror!

Regardless, Project Ogre has me interested.
