Sleeping Dogs Voice Cast: Emma Stone, Tom Wilkinson, More

One of the most anticipated games of the year has a seriously powerful voice cast.

Developer United Front Games has brought on some recognizable and talented voiceover talent for the formerly named True Crime: Hong Kong, and the cast even includes a two-time Academy Award nominee.

That's British actor Tom Wilkinson, who will voice police inspector Pendrew; there's almost no chance you haven't seen him, as he's been in a ton of movies including "The Patriot" and "Batman Begins." Then we've got Will Yun Lee who will voice the game's main character; Lee was the villain in the Bond movie "Die Another Day." Also featured in the upcoming promising title are Edison Chen ("Infernal Affairs," "The Grudge"), who will play Wei Shen's buddy Jackie Mah, James Hong ("Blade Runner," "The Day the Earth Stood Still") and Robin Shou ("Hard to Kill," "Fatal Chase").

Lastly, on the female side of things, Emma Stone ("The Amazing Spider-Man"), Lucy Liu ("Kill Bill"), and Kelly Hu ("Martial Law") will be involved. That's quite the cast, no?

Sleeping Dogs hits on August 14.

Im really surprised to hear this I didn't know there would be such a star studded cast. Sleeping Dogs reminds me of GTA. I've been looking forwad to playing this.

Lol Chosen Assassin calm down man it's only a thumbs up or down. It doesn't mean everyone dislikes you.

Even Ben gets thumbed down sometimes and he works on this site. The more people know you dislike it the more they will do it to you.

Two things:

First, change your avatar. Now.

Second, don't ever freak out like that again. It's childish and we have zero tolerance for standard Internet adolescent tantrums around here. The thumbs down are meaningless and even if they weren't, that reaction was entirely uncalled for.

I get the feeling the studio might be in red if the game doesn't sell.
Though I won't be getting this, I wish it all the best.

one upcoming trend ill never understand.
i can justify spending big bucks on hollywood actors for cinematic games like beyond 2 souls, or the last of us.
but for this?
really?
is it really going to add that much more to the game to warrant the immense cost?
i mean logically speaking you would think a hollywood actor would be charging a hell of allot more, than your joe blow off the street.
i mean yea he may not be your best voice actor, but in a cheesy crime based game like this who cares!?
id much rather them put that extra money saved on something more point full, like some DLC or improving the graphics, or something that will actually add to the game.
