Future Titles May Include Dragon's Dogma 2, New Ninja Gaiden

So what Japanese games are on tap for the future?

Well, none are confirmed, of course, but the recent Famitsu featured the wish-lists of major developers. And as cited by Andriasang, that could include several big projects.

Perhaps the most enticing - at least from a role-playing standpoint - is the fact that Capcom's Hideaki Itsuno says he "really wants to make a sequel" to the well-received Dragon's Dogma. It's even more interesting to learn that the large world featured in that game is only about 2/3 of what he had originally envisioned. Also included was an update from Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi, who says there are a "variety of movements being made with the Ninja Gaiden series."

Sega's Toshihiro Nagoshi says the Yakuza developer wants to make an online game of some sort, but it would have to go beyond something like "Yakuza Online." Square Enix's Naoki Yoshida wants to put the Golden Saucer from Final Fantasy VII into Final Fantasy XIV (if possible), and SCE's Keiichiro Toyama wants to make a follow-up effort to the Vita's quality Gravity Rush title.

...we're still not sure what Hayashi means about "working hard to convey the feeling of softness from the girls' skin" in DoA5, but that's okay. We think we get it.

More Ninja Gaiden woo hoo! I somewhat expect an effort to revitalize NG3 with a complete overhaul. But then again, it was received so badly they may just decide to do something new from the ground up. I'm game, either way. I still managed to play a whole lot of NG3, despite it's flaws.

Im all for a sequel to Dragons Dogma and I believe Team Ninja wont make the same mistake twice. Next Gravity Rush should be on PS4 and Vita.

-I'll try Dogma some day when I'm hard up. Not interested in anything focusing on online even by the awesome Yakuza team.

-It's funny SE still wants to draw on the success of FFVII without just remaking the damn thing. It was pretty sad that that casino in FFXIII-2 was supposed to be some kind of attempt at a Golden Saucer. They should just scrap FFXIV, it will never be successful now. If Wada offers to cut off his finger to make amends we will forgive him, so long as he's fired too.

-Mmmmm... softness...bounce...

The longer you wait the more your main pawn is going to miss out.

In the demo I made my pawn look exactly like Squall, that was kinda cool.

With any luck, they could port Ninja Gaiden 2 sigma to the PS Vita. I would pre order that title in a heartbeat.

Love me some Ninja Gaiden, even enjoyed NG3 which was spat upon by most NG fans. Sure it was the worst of the bunch but still a lush, violent affair that i will keep in my creepy little gaming den.

The violence will likely cause me to buy NG3 at a low price some time.

i hope they dont continue with NG, not in its state!
NG3 was like taking a dump in the mouth of your favorite hero!
such a utterly poor game, and TOTALLY destroyed the spirit of ninja gaiden!
i with tobonu would reconsider and come back to the team!
there lost without him, and so is the series!

Dragons Dogma 2 better have Co-op. The skills are just set up for it and really a 4 player Co op Mode would just be incredible. The combat in that game is just so good and setting up moves with other really players would just be so damn satisfying.

NG well....If they make another game they are probably going to have to compete with DMC, as those two games are most compared to one another. If they can't make the game as tight as the new DMC or tighter, then they might be in trouble.

It has some fixes that would make people happy
