Future Titles May Include Dragon's Dogma 2, New Ninja Gaiden
So what Japanese games are on tap for the future?
Well, none are confirmed, of course, but the recent Famitsu featured the wish-lists of major developers. And as cited by Andriasang, that could include several big projects.
Perhaps the most enticing - at least from a role-playing standpoint - is the fact that Capcom's Hideaki Itsuno says he "really wants to make a sequel" to the well-received Dragon's Dogma. It's even more interesting to learn that the large world featured in that game is only about 2/3 of what he had originally envisioned. Also included was an update from Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi, who says there are a "variety of movements being made with the Ninja Gaiden series."
Sega's Toshihiro Nagoshi says the Yakuza developer wants to make an online game of some sort, but it would have to go beyond something like "Yakuza Online." Square Enix's Naoki Yoshida wants to put the Golden Saucer from Final Fantasy VII into Final Fantasy XIV (if possible), and SCE's Keiichiro Toyama wants to make a follow-up effort to the Vita's quality Gravity Rush title.
...we're still not sure what Hayashi means about "working hard to convey the feeling of softness from the girls' skin" in DoA5, but that's okay. We think we get it.
