Rumor: Metal Gear Rising Slices Up Store Shelves In February
We knew we wouldn't see Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance until next year, and we still don't have an official release date.
But according to an advertisement in Intent Media's annual Sourcebook (as cited by GamerZines), the hotly anticipated title is slated for February 2013.
It was part of Konami's software lineup and it seems Revengeance has gone from the vague "early 2013" to "February 2013," which is a little more specific. You could start seeing the same estimated window appear in retailer databases, so if you go to pre-order or something, you might find out. If you want to try the game early, you'll want to pick up the Zone of the Enders HD Collection (launching later this year), which will feature a Metal Gear Rising demo.
Rising is essentially a collaboration between Kojima Productions and Bayonetta developer Platinum Games. Kojima's team started it and Platinum is finishing it, as they'll bring they're patented brand of stylish over-the-top action to Raiden's new adventure.

when they first showed rising it looked so good!
a true tactical based sword fighting game!
now it looks ok, but it feels like its lost allot of its deep cautious combat.
i just hope its not a typical platinum game!
IE short as hell, frustrating as hell, repetitive as hell and stereotypical.
