What do you get when you combine the music/rhythm genre and the classic shoot-'em-up gameplay format?

It's called Retro/Grade, which will be an exclusive title available on the PlayStation Network on August 21. As revealed at the PlayStation Blog, developer 24 Caret Games is prepping this unique and engaging title that will have you fighting through "reverse-timed space battles."

The soundtrack will be up on the PSN as well, and you can pick up both the soundtrack and the game in a discounted bundle. Time is reversed in this bizarre futuristic environment, where you "must undo your actions to protect the health of the space/time continuum by unfiring your shots, which are timed to the beat of the game's music." So like...you're taking back what you did.
