E3 Will Stay In Los Angeles For At Least Three More Years
Historically, the Electronic Entertainment Expo is held in Los Angeles. And that history will continue, at least for a few more years.
The Entertainment Software Association has announced today that the iconic video game industry trade show known as E3 will remain in Los Angeles through 2015.
They also revealed the dates for E3 2013, which will once again be held at the LA Convention Center and its surrounding venues: June 11-13. Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa definitely wanted to keep E3 around, as he said his office "was committed to doing whatever it took to keep the largest annual conference that the city hosts here for another three years." E3 has been around for 18 years, and LA has played host to the event for all but 2 of those years (Santa Monica, CA and Atlanta, GA) were the other locations).
Further, the three-year agreement insures that E3 will go forward during the major construction plans scheduled for downtown LA. You may have heard about the new Farmers Field, for example. Personally, I think E3 should be held in Honolulu but hey, who am I to mess with a fine tradition?

dont care where its held, all i care about is that next gen systems, along with heaps of games for them be there on show floor playable!
im going to be so disappointed if E3 comes and goes and no next gen systems are announced!
especially after all the next gen talk, tech demos, engine reveals, and even leaked specs.
but, hey, this is E3 so disappointment sadly is par for the course!

Side note here, has anyone seen the preview for Premium Rush? I 100% thought it was an inFamous movie.
