Linkin Park Looks to Add "Depth And Emotion" To Warfighter
EA is trying to deliver an emotional, authentic military experience with Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and they've tapped Linkin Park to help.
Developer Danger Close has announced a cross-collaboration between the upcoming Warfighter and one of the most popular rock bands in the world. The band's co-producer and co-lead vocalist Mike Shinoda has composed original in-game scores for the game, and they're designed to "add depth and emotion to an already intense gameplay experience."
EA has also produced Linkin Park's latest music video, "Castle of Glass," which will be featured in the game as well (and is part of their new #1 album, "Living Things"). The video examines the life of a soldier and shows the sacrifices they and their families must make on a consistent basis. The video is produced by Danger Close and Digital Domain.
Below is a brief behind-the-scenes look along with the video.

Sometimes I would listen to the first album though, which I liked.
I also haven't played a MoH game in some time.

I've enjoyed all Linkin Park's albums. I'll always have a soft spot for their earlier work. But I think this new direction has been a smart move for them, especially for Chester. I mean, he's had freakin throat ulcer's and throat surgery... dude really needed to tone it down.

I've listened to their new album (Living Things) and overall it is more mature and I THINK it holds more depth, which makes sense considering it's been many years since their Hybrid Theory days...
Anyway, I'm intrigued to see where this is going (even though I know their will be negative backlash).

"In the end, it doesn't even matter!"
Here's another from the same song:
"One thing, I don't know why, it doesn't even matter how hard I try. Keep that in mind I designed this rhyme to remind myself why I quit playing military FPS games."
