Prince Of Persia Reboot Incoming?
Hey, wait...where did Prince of Persia go?
We know fans out there have been asking, and perhaps Ubisoft will soon give us the answer. Are they working on a reboot? An in-progress game currently labeled "Prince of Persia Zero" or "Prince of Persia Zero 2?" Well, according to a leaked image...yep.
The supposed inside info says the game is a "reboot" and it's sort of like "God of War lite." The latter isn't too surprising, as that's basically what the last installment was (The Forgotten Sands). The new title apparently takes place in Egypt, too, and we're getting yet another new protagonist. The "Zero 2" part of the title definitely hints at a spin-off or reboot of some kind but as of now, Ubisoft remains quiet on the issue.
I've always loved PoP. I still say Sands of Time was easily one of the best games of the last generation, and the first title of this generation - which could also sorta be called a "reboot" - went over very well with critics and gamers alike. Feel free to read the review if you never played it.
We'll let you know if more info can be found concerning this mystery PoP project. Cross your fingers!

one grudge ive always held against AC!
no matter how much i love it, it will NEVER replace PoP!
i really wish ubisoft montreal would give themselves a break after AC3 and bring us a new PoP game!
BUT that said word of warning dont make it a massively different reboot!
keep the series how it was, or let it rest in peace!
