Sony Discounting 17 Big-Name PS3, Vita Titles Next Week

Summer is usually pretty bare, so you might want to stock up on games you've missed.

Sony is giving you ample opportunity to do so, as it seems they'll be discounting no less than 17 games next week, as evidenced by a recent NeoGAF posting. And this isn't a ho-hum list, either. There are names like Gran Turismo, Resistance, Uncharted, Wipeout and Twisted Metal, so you had best take advantage!

Saving money for Sleeping Dogs. Although the games that are discounted in price are almost appealing to purchase… GOW Origins and Jak and Daxter… tempting ^_^

People say summer is slow, but since I wait until games are only $20 or less, summer is one of my busy periods. I already have about 15 games waiting for me to play them and it looks like I'll be adding a couple more in the next week or two.

Looking forward to Gran Turismo, however now I need to find a sweet deal on a good race wheel. If I'm playing gt5, I want to do it right.

dang. a number of these I'd want to have in my collection at that price, like Uncharted 3 and Origins. But I gotta hold off =) Timing is still not right financially. I also have a crap TON of games already. Near every one is well worth playing, too.

how can a 2 month old game be cheaper than a 6 month old game!?
one thing i HATE about games pricing!
i recently picked up resistance 3 again for 30 bucks under EBs sale, and grabbed NFS while i was at it too.
one released november 2010 and the other september 2011 if i remember right.
so which one was 30 bucks more?
wrong, it was the 2010 release!
WTF!?
a games a game, 2010 titles should be worth way, way, WAY less than 2011 titles!
regardless how popular they are and how well they sold!

I would buy Uncharted 3, but i'm pretty sure that it's because Uncharted 3: Gold Edition is coming soon.

Modnation racers is €15 on PSN and was €10 on ps plus awhile back, which is reasonable considering the lack of player wanted features *online*

I thought it was Best Buy who was discounting the games but it isn't them or the PSN so who has Gran Turismo for 20 bucks?
