Analyst: Don't Be Surprised If GTAV Slips Into Fiscal 2014
For the most part, everyone likes to assume Grand Theft Auto V will launch during Take-Two's current fiscal year (2013).
That's mostly because the publisher posted some pretty rosy predictions for the year, which have led analysts to make the obvious assumption that GTAV will hit relatively soon.
However, not everyone is convinced. Janco Partners' Mike Hickey told NowGamer that at this rate, it's feasible that one of the most anticipated games of the generation could release after March 2013...hence, fiscal 2014. By the way, same goes for Bioshock Infinite, which has been making people a tad nervous.
Said Hickey:
"We suspect both GTA V and Bioshock Infinite could realistically slip into a fiscal ‘14 release period."
Perhaps we'll see GTAV in May. Take-Two and Rockstar seem to like that month, as we've seen Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption launch in May in each of the last three years. Also, don't forget that GTAIV released in April. We say just get GTAV and Infinite here ASAP!

But if the next gen consoles indeed are launched in 2013, and to me it looks more and more like they might, then there could be that those two titles are aiming for being launch titles for those machines.
And frankly, I don't mind waiting a few more months if that means I can play GTA5 and Infinity on my PS4 instead. It'd be an awesome kick start of a new generation.

for some reason R* loves releasing its games in may, see RDR, LA Noire, MP3, the only R* game this gen that has not released in said month is MCLA and GTAIV which released late april so close enough!
as for bioshock infinite no freaking way!
the games been in development since 2007 for crying out loud!
the day they delayed the game they announced the new release date!
if it was THAT far off we still would not have a date for it, let alone announce a new date the day its delayed!
plus without them, what will bring in the $$$$$ for R*?
sure theres RD and noire, but there only 1 and 2 years old its a bit early to be talking about new versions of them.
and as for max payne even more so!
its pretty clear and obvious where R* will be going with their releases.
GTAV will be next, followed by maybe another midnight club its been a while since we saw that!
maybe they will do that, maybe they wont, im leaning towards not i think they have lost faith in the series popularity.
so id say GTAV, than a new red dead, than hopefully a new noire game, wherever its based.
and maybe agent can fit in somewhere between that.
hopefully!
