Sly Cooper Sneaks Out Of 2012
Sony doesn't have many exclusives set for the holidays, and we just lost one to 2013.
The anticipated return of an iconic PlayStation character has been delayed, as Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time won't make its originally projected fall 2012 release window. It's now set for February 2013.
Scheduled to arrive for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, this will take advantage of Sony's new Cross Buy promotion, which is an excellent incentive program. As for why they were forced to push back this promising title, they've provided a pretty straightforward statement:
"Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will be releasing in February 2013 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. With a robust and diverse catalog of first and third party content launching this holiday season--including Wonderbook: Book of Spells, PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale, Little Big Planet Karting, Assassins Creed III, Assassin’s Creed III Liberation, Madden 13, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified--we have decided to release Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time in early 2013 to ensure gamers continue to have a variety of content to enjoy after the holidays and into the New Year."
Oh, nobody has to worry about potentially great games available after the holidays. There's Bioshock Infinite, DMC, God of War: Ascension, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Dead Space 3, Tomb Raider, the recently confirmed Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, etc. And now Sly, too?
DAMN.

wow, no wonder their going bankrupt!
sigh.
figures, the one semi core exclusive that was releasing this year just happens to be the one that gets delayed!
sigh.
:(
why couldent it be wonderbook, or LBPK, or any other game most wont care about!
gotta love it how they make it sound like next year is any quieter, i mean sly 4 would of literally had the market to itself!
