Kojima And Co. Preparing All New Rising Trailer And Demo
Gamescom is behind us but you don't have long to wait before the Tokyo Game Show gets rolling; it's just over a month away. Yep, that soon.
One of the games that turned heads at GC 2012 was Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and we also learned it was slated for a February launch. A demo will ship with the upcoming Zone of the Enders HD Collection, too.
But if you want more Revengeance, Kojima and Co. will have you covered at TGS. According to Andriasang, producer Yuji Korekado confirmed via Twitter that the team is working on a "completely new demo and completely new trailer" for the Tokyo Game Show. He also said there were four-hour waits to go eyes-on with the game at last week's GC event, and he heard plenty of "strong praise," too. That's always encouraging, right?
Anyway, we have total confidence that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be great. It isn't MGS and it isn't supposed to be, so we're good.

I thought they could at least use the same engine, but apparently they can't or won't.

yea it looked WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better when it was in the original studios hands, but hey its either this or nothing so ill take this.
it looks VERY different from all the other hack and slash games out there so thats nice to see.
i just hope it does not suffer from severe platinimites.
ie repetitive as hell, frustrating useless controls, and cheesier than your typical hollywood b grade summer flick!
