GTAV Transport Images: Dude, Is That A Fighter Jet?!

Transportation is always a major factor in Grand Theft Auto. Heck, we always spend the majority of our time driving something, right?

But after Grand Theft Auto IV, some complained that what we could pilot was disappointing in comparison with previous GTA titles, in which we could nab everything from helicopters to commercial airliners to jet packs. Gotta love the parachute.

So has the developer listened to that fan feedback? Check out three new GTAV-related images that have popped up at Rockstar's website. One you see here; it's a freakin' fighter jet, which could be sweet. We also see a dude on a bicycle and a fancy car with the name "Cheeta" on the rear bumper. GTA veterans will recognize the name (although it's usually spelled "Cheetah"); these super fast cars were in all the last-generation GTAs.

They also say they'll reveal more this week, so stay tuned. Are we gearing up for the final GTAV unveiling that will deliver a concrete release date...?

Really pumped for GTA V. Seems like Rockstar are taking action on fan feedback. If they do it right and I doubt they won't, this'll be a gem.

The letters are not evenly spaced on the back of the car if the "H" doesn't exist. I also think that the sun is blurring it out.

I would love to see a lot of missions involving the fighter jet instead of more on foot and car.

...I don't think those graphics are real. I mean, I think they're REAL real, not anything from the actual game.

Looking at the textures on the road that the Cheeta is on, I'd say it looks like in game to me. Of course you'd probably need a dang good computer or system to run those kinda graphics, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're real.

If you look close, you can see some jagged lines on the car's spoiler. Those are shots from the game, probably from cut scenes.

That's what I mean, they're not IN-game. I just don't see that happening, not for a game the size of GTA. Open-world with that detail? I think that requires power we don't have yet.

Right, when I see stills my mind just downgrades them a bit because media is always better looking than the product. Even so I expect it to be a graphical triumph for a sandbox game. That's why I didn't think Watch Dogs was next gen.

I think we're going to see the best-looking version of the game on next-gen consoles. Imagine if they could get close to this level of detail IN GAME?

I can almost guarantee they are ingame screenshots. I really think so. I mean, how could they not when even the cutcenes in the GTAs so far have been done with the ingame engine.

Nope, I am willing to bet these are real screenshots, just obviously using cutting edge hardware. And I am just SO ready, both for new hardware *and* a new GTA. :)

Rockstar calls them "screens" so they probably are, bat as Beam said they are likely on a supercomputer.

what is it with rockstar and drip feeding the world?
they starve you to death, than just before you die they give you just enough food to keep you on the verge of death!
come on R*, its about freaking time you opened up the hall and let us into the banquet!
if they dont give us some gameplay footage this week theres going to be heck to pay!
