Journey's Gorgeous Hardcover Art Book

It's one of the most beautiful games of the generation, even if some might view it as a minimalist approach to moving, memorable "beauty."

Thatgamecompany's Journey remains one of the highest-rated titles of 2012 and it was largely applauded for its fantastic artistic style. If you were one of those many fans, you might want to pick up the gorgeous hardcover art book.

Designed and written by art director Matt Nova, the book includes art from the award-winning downloadable adventure, and talks about the influences and inspirations behind the concept. There are in-game 3D models, too, which are visible via Augmented Reality by pointing a smartphone at a special code on the page. Oh, and the book includes a PSN voucher for the Journey soundtrack.

I don't know about you, but this will go nicely on my coffee table. It'll be available next month. If you want to further support the game, you should pick up the Collector's Edition.

Cool.
And that AR feature should also work with the PSVita since it can do AR too, right??????

Good question, it depends on if the Vita can read those silly codes that are all over everything these days.

I've only played it once because it's like a special occasion type of experience :) I don't actually own a coffee table but it would look nice on my shelf next to my Catherine art book.
