PlayStation All-Stars Welcomes Nariko, Daniel Fortesque

More characters for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and these are two that never got their just due, in my opinion.

The first is Nariko, the protagonist of the well-received Heavenly Sword, one of the first top-quality PlayStation 3 exclusives of the generation. She carries a large weapon but she's also crazy agile, and she should be able to stun a few worthy opponents in Battle Royale.

The second is Sir Daniel; full name Daniel Fortesque, who enjoyed relative fame back in the original PlayStation days. He is the stalwart hero of the quirky and beloved MediEvil titles, and he'll have a few unique skills and abilities that will give him the definite edge. Check them both out below...are there enough reasons now for you to be intrigued? Remember, PlayStation All-Stars will be available for both the PS3 and Vita in November.

Finally, some just dues for the most memorable redhead this generation. It is starting to look pretty cool but I'm not keen on the tiny characters and the crazy amount of stuff happening. I guess since I play alone it really isn't for me but I'm glad Nariko finally joined the fray.

Found Soul Calibur V for cheap and it arrived today (I'm getting pumped for DOA). But, like, they released that game by accident right? It wasn't actually done was it?

I know what you mean lol I bought the collector when it came out and I really regretted my move. Story is pretty much a storyboard with an annoying character as the main thing... Combat was fun overall but there was no *meat* for me. They removed most of my favorite characters also...

Basically felt really rushed for a 90 dollars buy T-T

FYI: MGS's Raiden will be in this game too.

And using the same control scheme as is in the upcoming Metal Gear: Rising game.

Not to be the grammar nazi but you did say "a chimera," which always conjures up a single lion/goat/snake mixed animal in my mind but then I'm big on mythology.

Still not sure about this game... at all but these are two VERY worthy additions. I love Nariko to bits. Such an awesome character. Sir Dan, well I never played MediEvil but I've heard good things. I wish that Sony would use this game to reboot and continue some old/er series...

Very Glad to see Sir Daniel rise once more. Medievil 1 & 2 were both fantastic games for the day. I remember finding the introduction to the first game mesmerizing. It was done in the game engine graphics and followed down this spooky path to a train station. It looked amazing for the time.

I'm still waiting for Crash Bandicoot. there are still many gaming events before November, I'll be expecting the announcement soon.
