Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger Returns To The Bloody Wild West
Everyone wants to be a cowboy.
Developer Techland and publisher Ubisoft have announced Call of Juarez: Gunslinger; the fourth entry in the series will be a downloadable effort for the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and PC, and it'll arrive some time next year.
After a brief modern-day stint in the franchise's most recent entry, The Cartel, the latest title will return to its Wild West roots. You will play as a bounty hunter who must hunt down some of the most notorious gunmen in history, including Jesse James, Billy the Kid, and Pat Garrett. Also returning will be the Concentration mode, which allows you to target multiple enemies during a brief slo-mo period, and then unleash with quick-fire coolness.
Plus, for the first time ever in the franchise, the game will boast a skill progression system, so you can develop your bounty hunter whichever way you choose. Here's hoping this one turns out well because while the first couple of series installments were decent, the last was less than mediocre. Like...not good at all.

So I'm really glad to hear that it's returning back to it's original roots, but....
I'm also pissed that it's now going to be a D/L only title.
**Dammit, I want it sitting on my shelf, in my PS3 collection, in Bluray disc form!!!**
