Dishonored Developer Doc Explores The Concept Of Immersion
When it comes to a game like Dishonored, the necessity of full immersion is obvious.
In a first-person adventure with multiple gameplay mechanics, the action will demand your attention. But the environment and futuristic steam punk-ish backdrop will handle the heavy lifting when it comes to immersion.
Bethesda and developer Arkane Studios continue to release new media for their promising upcoming title, Dishonored. The latest is another developer documentary; this one is fittingly entitled Immersion, and visual design director Viktor Antonov starts by saying he had to create very realistic things that don't actually exist in reality. Other designers step in and talk, too; you gotta check it out if you're interested in Dishonored, which hits on October 9.

Looking amazing as ever, can't wait to immerse myself in this world next month. You can't say these guys didn't do their homework and put their heart into this production. I sincerely hope it is a hit with gamers.
