Sly's New Adventure Begins In February
It's just too bad we aren't getting it this year, but at least it's not too far off.
The highly anticipated Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will launch for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on February 5. And yes, both versions will be available in physical form and in digital form on the PSN.
Like November's PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, the new Sly adventure will utilize Sony's new Cross Buy promotion; if you pick up the PS3 version, the Vita version comes free of charge. We still say this is one of the best incentives we've heard the entire generation because that's some serious value, don't you think? Thieves in Time, although not created by original developer Sucker Punch, has been in the capable hands of Sanzaru Games, which produced the high-definition re-imaginings of the first three Sly Cooper titles in 2010.
For fans of the mischievous blue raccoon, this all-new entry is a long time coming. Can't wait, can ya?

I know the Vita's powerful, but I doubt it can mirror the PS3 version. If it can, then the game is simply not being utilized to the PS3's potential.

Other games and series like Assassin's Creed and BlOps 2 are using your idea, one that I think is better TBH, but cross-buy is basically to build up the consumer base for Vita, or allow players to switch from one to the other at will as it also has cross-saving.
