One Of History's Best Finally Comes To The PSN In Europe
I can just hear a horde of European gamers now: "Well, it's about damn time!"
The side-scrolling classic with role-playing elements, the memorable Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, is finally coming in digital form to Europe. Konami has revealed that it'll hit the Euro PSN on October 10 and have a price tag of £9.99.
The game features Alucard, who enters a large castle full of enemies, hazards, and just fantastic gameplay mixed with a level-up system and a big ol' inventory. It has a special place in my heart as one of my top 5 favorite games of all time, which is why I say everyone should play it, even if it has to be in digital form. By the way, for all those in the US who missed out, it has been available on our Network for a few years now. So no more excuses, damnit.
By the way, a free cookie to anybody who can tell me the name of the enemy that drops the ridiculously overpowered Crissaegrim. And be a man...don't Google it and pretend like you know. It isn't even that hard of a question, really...it might be harder to tell me who drops the legendary Ring of Varda (and HOW you get that to happen).

I enjoyed Lord of Shadows but I really wish the series tried to get back in line with what Symphony of the Night brought to the table. This and Simon's Quest are my favorites.

And the name of the golden skeleton that drops the Ring of Varda is Paranthropus. There are two room s with five total in the second (upside-down) castle, but there is ONE in the first castle, which means that with a clear-game save file, you can get that crazy Ring really early...just might take a while.

Also, yeah, uh, if SOTN isn't the best game ever, it's top 5 hands down. An absolute classic. I play through front to back every one or two years still. Might just take it for another spin this halloween season, as I did way back in the fall of 1997 when I received the game for my 17th birthday...

Oh and the ring of varda? That one I actually remember better, You have to beat the game first (I remember cause I had to look it up back in the day, I'd been trying to get one without doing that for ages) and then those big skeletons with the (also) big bone will drop them...
Did I win the cookie?

Certainly a game that should be played by anyone that considers themselves a gamer.
Ben will brag about his map completion, don't let it get to you.
