Fox Turning Battlefield: Bad Company Into An "Action Comedy"
Well, such a game really does lend itself well to a television show, don't you think? All sorts of entertainment value!
Battlefield: Bad Company from Electronic Arts combined top-notch action with some very cool characters and a decent script, so perhaps it's no surprise to hear that the sub-series is heading to the small screen.
As reported by Deadline, Fox is preparing a one-hour action comedy, which will be written by John Eisendrath ("Alias"). The show will boast the main characters from the original Bad Company, and it's also interesting to note that EA's Patrick Bach will be one of the executive producers. We've seen a lot of games go the movie route but this is a little different, so maybe it'll fare better. Those who played the BC games know the style and atmosphere could be great in an "action comedy." That genre sounds about right.
So you know...just cross your fingers.
