The One Thing Missing From Borderlands 2? Pirates, Of Course
It'd be tough to make Borderlands 2 better than it already is.
But as always, in just about any walk of life, the addition of pirates somehow does make everything better. Four campaign expansions are planned for Gearbox's awesome title, and the first add-on piece arrives next week.
It's called the Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty DLC, and it'll be ready to go for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 16; it'll hold a price tag of $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points. It seems a character is attempting to construct a tropical paradise on Pandora, but her work has been plagued by swarms of pirates...who are obviously attracted to tropical locales. So clearly, something has to be done so Scarlett can enjoy her new digs, and we're assuming that's where you come in. By the way, if you picked up the DLC season pass for this game ($30), you won't be paying for this.
The Mechromancer DLC, which offers a new class to toy around with, is already available. It was supposed to launch next week but it appears all the DLC has been moved up. And nobody's gonna complain.

Borderlands had the best DLC I have ever encountered and some of them were huge for only ten bucks. I remember a sale where I got the game of the year edition on PS3 for 15 bucks...which at the time I hadn't tried the DLC because I didn't trust it but man, it was totally worth it even if moxxis was a flop the rest were amazing especially general knoxx.
