God of War: Ascension will undoubtedly be one of next year's biggest titles and for all you hardcore Kratos fans, there's a great special edition heading to store shelves.
The package features a statue of the iconic hero (totally bad-ass for any collection), along with the official soundtrack, a double XP unlock for the multiplayer, and a free pass that will give you some future downloadable content. You'll also get a PS3 dynamic theme and a Network avatar, and all of this only retails for $79.99. Now, if you'd like to pre-order the hotly anticipated action extravaganza, you'll receive the Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack, which boasts four characters for use in online play: Perseus, Orion, Achilles, and Odysseus.
God of War: Ascension is slated to hit store shelves on March 12, and we're fairly convinced that a whole lot of anxious PlayStation fans are awaiting its arrival. You're one of them, yes?

$ony, since when is a piece of paper considered “collector’s edition”?
what happened to the good old days where collectors editions contained, you know, rare items people would actually want to collect!?
not a crappy tiny statue and steelbook you will be able to buy off ebay for 10 bucks!
wheres the art book?
wheres the making of DVD?
wheres the postcards?
wheres the little cool real life replica of something in the game?
CEs are the perfect opportunity to think outside the box and bring something really rare and cool for people to splurge on.
something they see and say oh that is so cool i MUST have it!
what says that in this?
NOTHING!
a crappy tiny statue, steelbook, and piece of paper does not a “collectors edition” make!
