Do We Finally Get A Grand Theft Auto V Date In December?
Come December, it will be exactly one year since we saw that debut trailer for Grand Theft Auto V.
So wouldn't it make perfect sense to finally receive a finalized launch date in a few months time? It seems possible, as Rockstar's massive blockbuster will be featured in the December Game Informer issue, as editor Andy McNamara confirmed via Twitter.
"I’m about to make some of my haters very happy. In NYC, about to check out December’s cover game #GTAV."
I have suggested in the past that one of the reasons for the GTAV blackout is due to the fact that the game is being prepped for both current- and next-gen consoles. Some analysts have predicted that the game actually won't make its projected release window of Q1 2013, which would be bad news for publisher Take-Two; they predicted big numbers for their fiscal year. But whenever it arrives, and for whichever platforms, you can bet your bottom dollar that it will be huge.

Guess I'm just gonna have to try and finish my massive back catalogue of PC, PS3, 360 and Wii games while I wait for this behemoth of a game. I still need to finish:
Skyrim
Dragon Age Origins
Dragon Age II
Bioshock
Bioshock 2
Gran Turismo 5
Assassin's Creed 1, 2 and Brotherhood (prepare for AC3)
Littlebig Planet 2
Fallout 3 GOTY Ed.
Fallout New Vegas
Demon's Souls
Ratchet and Clank A Crack In Time
Lost Odyssey
Xenoblade Chronicles
Resident Evil (remake) Wii
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Donkey Kong Country Returns
MGS HD Collection
MGS 4 (with trophies)
Mortal Kombat
Super Street Fighter IV
Rayman Origins
Halo Reach
Crysis 2
Starcraft 2
Battlefield 3
Borderlands
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Driver San Francisco
Farcry 2
Half Life 2 + all the episodes

So, by the time I get through these games in my spare time, I should be able to buy the GTA V PS4 Complete edition. :P

its just not them, i mean this is the company who does not turn up to E3 for crying out loud!
every time they have something to say they release it themselves, not go through someone else.
when they have a release date to share it will be through their terms, on their website!
not through a dead medium.

How dare u call video game magazine a dead medium. I still get video game magazines every month Playstation: The Official Magazine, XBox Official Magazine, Gameinformer & EGM . I trust my reviews from PTOM, OXM & GI rather then some random guy on a website who might of been paid off to give a good or bad review score on a game

sorry dude, but theres more than 1 person in the world.
one guy buys something does not mean its stopped from being a dead medium.
why spend 5 bucks a month or whatever on the mag when you can go online and get all the info for free.
eh, as the saying goes a fool and his money are easily departed!

I'm more interested to see how what info drops on it in the magazine. Will we finally get a size estimate? First character details? Story themes? Hopefully not multiplayer details, who plays GTA for multiplayer, despite how fun it is? Sadly, the release date has no bearing on me, but maybe we'll get the word that either it, or an accompaniment, will be on the Vita. I'm officially excited to hit the web the day after December's issue of GI drops. Now, when is that?
