PS3 Owners Might Get The Mass Effect Trilogy In December
EA formally announced the Mass Effect Trilogy for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC last month.
But while the 360 and PC versions received a November 7 release date, the publisher didn't have an exact date for the PS3 version. That left some gamers wondering if we'd even see it this year.
Well, if the Australian branch of EBGames is accurate, PS3 owners will indeed see that Trilogy before Christmas comes. As cited by OnlySP, the retail listing has a date of December 6 and furthermore, GameTraders (another Australian retailer) has the exact same date. On the flip side, if you want to be a bit more pessimistic, Amazon.com gives the anticipated compilation a date of February 26, 2013, which is quite a bit different, wouldn't you say?
Chances are, if it is coming to Sony's console this year, EA will make that plain in the weeks to come. By the way, the PS3 version should feature a bunch of improvements and upgrades that won't be found in either the 360 or PC version of the Trilogy, so...
