New-Look Store Suffers Launch-Day Problems In Europe
These things don't always go as smoothly as they should.
Reports are coming in from all over the Internet that the launch of the newly revamped PlayStation Store has caused some crashing issues in Europe. There have been other problems reported as well, such as the Store not recognizing Plus members and the wallet failing to work properly.
And according to Eurogamer, Sony has reverted back to the old Store, apparently so they can work out the kinks. As revealed yesterday, the drastically upgraded Store features a slicker, easier-to-use format, and is scheduled to be available in the US next week (Tuesday, October 23). Hopefully, that's still on track to happen and the launch will go smoother 'round these parts.
Of course, this will only be more cannon fodder for the current anti-PlayStation trend that has once again started to permeate the Internet. But I suppose that can't be helped.

One "delete" for the transaction history, so I can delete all of the old demos, & game videos.
Hell, I've got almost a hundred games on my hard-drive, but.. well in excess of 650 demos & game trailers/videos that are now unwanted.
I wound up giving up trying to sort between my wanted games & all the rest of that wasteful chafe & clutter.
And I want the 2nd "delete" for the trophy list, as I have tons of disc-based games I've bought for collection purposes & wound up sampling, just to find out that I still didn't like them.
Or for the demo's of other games I wound up not liking either, that(surprisingly enough), also spit out a trophy or two.

it seems like it's been ages since I've gotten a demo trophy, and maybe one was even one of the Mini's, but I don't really remember which ones.
The thing I do recall was that with each of those demo's, the developer had said to save their demo because whatever you did there would carry over to the full game disc version, such as designing your character, upgrades, loot/money, XP, skins/costumes, etc.
So now that I think about it, that's probably why those demo's even had any trophies at all.
I actually was quite mad when I got them because I was far enough into the demo that I knew I wasn't going to buy the full game due to lack of interest, but I had just kept playing it to the demo's end.
I think I have about 1 trophy each from 5 demos's, & one other had given me 2 of them which I can't delete off my trophy list.
And since I'm a gaming collector, I also sample every game that I wouldn't normally buy to play, (bought only to fill in collections), just on the off-chance I'll be mildly surprised & like it.
So I also have a ton of those game's unwanted trophies too.
So if anyone were to look at my trophy list, it looks like I'm just another one of those lil' 5 year old, smacked-a$$, Ritalin pill-popping, rage-quitters.
Oh BTW, HB to ya! My BD is coming up in another 18 days, but mine's gonna be the big "six-zero"(but I've been feeling a bit over ninety'ish lately
So bring on the GERITOL, homies!!!!!!

I played a demo for a somewhat recent RPG where you basically created your character and played for about an hour or so before being cut off, and I remember it saying something about the save carrying over to the full game if you did buy it. But I don't remember what it was, or recieving any trophies from it.

Well Sony isn't exactly helping themselves with stuff like this happening... sigh, how about a little bit of qc testing before putting it live?
I'm really starting to wonder what's going on with Sony nowadays, glad I don't own any Sony stock that's for sure..

But inevitably, you always miss the things that a few of the masses do that no normal person would do that end up bogging things down. Unfortunately, with more complex software, patches are necessary after the fact.

Besides, we're not talking about weird 'couldn't-have-been-anticipated-errors' either, but a lot of people having problems even logging in to the store, navigating or trying to make purchases already on launch day, that's just lazy / unprofessional by the team responsible.

Even with the glitches fixed and rolled out again, it's all style and no substance. Disappointing
