Max Payne 3 Hostage Negotiation Pack Set For October 30
The Hostage Negotiation downloadable content pack for Max Payne 3 was supposed to be here in September.
But that didn't happen and earlier this month, we learned that it had been delayed, although we could expect a new date "very soon." Most assumed we'd get it at the end of October, and that's exactly right.
As confirmed at Rockstar's official website, that Hostage Negotiation Pack will be ready to go on October 30 for all platforms. This add-on features four new multiplayer maps along with two new rifles, an Explosive Burst booby trap, a new avatar faction, and a few additional cosmetic goodies. The DLC will retail for $9.99 (or 800 Microsoft Points). Pretty standard pricing these days.
I'm just wondering how many people are still playing this game. It launched back in May and it's not exactly a super long title, nor is it the kind of game that demands constant multiplayer attention. But maybe some gamers really took to it; that online action really is pretty refreshing, after all.
