Black Ops II Live Action Trailer: Celebs And Cool One-Liners

Say what you will about Call of Duty: Black Ops II...but the marketing campaign is definitely worth following.

Activision sent over a new live action trailer today, which is dubbed "Surprise." No, it's not a surprise for the gamers; it merely showcases the numerous ways you can be surprised when playing.

It features just about everything you might experience in the surprisingly versatile gameplay, and that includes a freakin' horse. Robert Downey, Jr. gets to be a fighter pilot and say, "Guess who brought a jet to a gunfight?" Then there's the dude who sits back and blows everyone up and then faces down a horde of the undead with a shotgun: "Zombies...groovy." And by the way, if you're not immediately thinking of Bruce Campbell in "Army of Darkness," whenever you hear "groovy" in that context, there's something wrong with you.

Activision always have the coolest ad, sometimes they may show no gameplay footage but does it matter when the ad itself is awesome?

Good Ad. I was around when "Groovy" was popular, but the first thing I thought of was not Bruce Campbell but Earthworm Jim!

It hasn't been pulled. It works when I played it from here.

Go to DailyMotion if Activision keeps pulling it from YouTube.

Sends a shiver up my spine this does. This franchise really is the daddy of them all - haters can hate - but you cant argue with sales figures. Im almost giddy with excitement at this release.

My wife hates it though.

Commercial can be seen at DailyMotion, YouTube's much better, more adult, less douchy and less pretentious counterpart, if they keep pulling it from YT.

Good ad, still not buying it. I'm not a 13 year-old kid.
