Rumor: GTAV Launches On Five-Year Anniversary Of GTAIV
Update: So Rockstar has confirmed that GTAV is set for Spring 2013, although there is no exact date.
Retailers will start taking pre-orders on November 5 so get ready!
Original Story:
We're still not exactly sure when Grand Theft Auto V will arrive, but recent evidence has hinted at a Spring 2013 release.
First we got promotional posters spotted by a Polish fansite and now, UK retailer GAME may have inadvertently confirmed that estimated launch window. Let's hope!
As noted by IGN, an update on the retailer's Twitter page (since removed) said- "Pre-Order Now Spring 2013," with all sorts of GTAV artwork plastered behind the announcement. But in addition, we have a whisper from a source supposedly close to Rockstar, who has told us that GTAV will launch exactly five years after GTAIV. That would put the release in late April; GTAIV launched on April 29, and April 30, 2013 is a Tuesday, so... It also certainly qualifies as "Spring 2013," so the information could be accurate.
But as with all rumors from such sources, please do take this with a grain of salt. We just hope we get the official word from Take-Two/Rockstar in a few weeks time. They said November, after all.

Needless to say that Saints Row up'd their game alot and people seem to find that more fun then GTA. So you might disagree but it's possible that 5yrs ago GTA was King but Saints Row gave the fans what they wanted GTA4 to be and unless Rockstar turn out something more 'fun', I'm not sure that GTA has the same dominance in the market it once held.
