Help Out A Fellow Gamer, Vote For A Great Sackboy Costume!

Update: Will won! It was close but he got the victory in the end, and the most total number of overall votes, too. He just wants to thank any and all PSXE readers who helped out.

Congrats dude!

Original Story:

Creative individuals deserve a little exposure, especially when they admit to being an avid PSXE reader. ;)

If you're unaware, Amazon is hosting a Costume Contest that is designed to promote imagination and ingenuity, and the grand prize winner receives a $1,000 Amazon gift card, a Kindle Fire HD, and a 5 lb. Hershey bar...no, we didn't make that up. Chocolate rules, anyway.

And one of our readers, Will Q., is now a finalist in the Best Low Budget category. You can read his interesting story as to how his Sackboy costume came to be, and it's important to note that he has the only fully video game-inspired costume in the contest. And therefore, we feel it's our duty to help put this out there. Will was behind by 18 votes at the time of writing to us, although he has been featured on the official LBP and Media Molecule Facebook pages.

Think you can help him out? To vote, head over to the contest Facebook page and vote for William's Sackboy! Good luck dude!

Heh, good to know, I was really just joking as it's election day. There's a lot of conservative nuts around here and I like to rattle their cages :)

Just a reminder that today is "ELECTION DAY"!

So if you value your American rights & freedoms as much as I do, THEN VOTE!

Our Future Has a Voice and it's...."YOUR VOTE"

For most Americans, today's election is not about two men.
It's about two fundamentally different visions for our country.

Will we be a nation of liberty, innovation, and virtue - or will we continue down a path where the dream of OUR Founders grows smaller & smaller by every ticking second?

Even after these last four devastating years, there are still people in this nation who are buying what this White House is selling: crushing debt, unemployment,
moral and material poverty,
and an ideology that costs as many innocent lives as it does borrowed dollars.

This is our chance to make it right.

In your hands rest the hopes of soldiers on the battlefield,
the persecuted church in faraway lands,
the future of generations in the womb, and 400 years of faith-driven independence.

Now is the time for choosing.
Not right or left, as Ronald Reagan said, but "up to the old-age dream of the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order, or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism."

Don' t be deterred by the long lines - be grateful for them.
After so many years of taking democracy for granted, more Americans are engaged than ever before.
And you're part of the reason why.

The Lord granted us our freedom to make a difference - it's our responsibility to exercise it.

So don't just watch and let our history, our liberty, & our freedoms slip out of your own hands today - be an actual part of it!

It wasn't until World commented on your avatar, that I realized it was a moving truck. I'm slow sometimes.

Canada has it's own version of that show, Biker. It's called "Rick Mercer Talking To Americans".

It's a really harmless show, but it is funny. My American friends and relatives get a kick out of it. It's very friendly. Especially the American kid at 5:20 who turns out to actually know his stuff pretty well! lol Here, I'll add a link. for you. :)
