Far Cry 3 Enjoys Golden Status
Far Cry 3Come December, you might think there aren't any games left in 2012. At least, none worth getting on day one.
Oh, but you are so wrong! The team behind the hotly anticipated Far Cry 3 has announced via Twitter that December 4 is now written in stone for the US.
The blockbuster sequel will actually release first in Europe, hitting on November 29; then it comes out in the UK on the 30th, and makes its way to North America on December 4. In all regions, it will launch simultaneously across all three major platforms, so you don't have to worry about being left out. Far Cry 3 could end up being a legitimate Game of the Year contender if history is any guide; many adored FC2 and FC3 looks to be bigger and better in just about every possible way.
If you like the idea of an engaging open-world shooter with all sorts of freedom and action, this is the title for you.
